Hope you all had a great weekend! PS - had the worse weekend of my life! i was involved in my first car crash :( luckily no-one was hurt. Cept poor Camry :( I now have a whole new outlook on driving and life in general :D
We spent the day volunteering at the Infants Home in Ashfield as part of work's "impact day". First time I ever did any actual gardening in my life and boy was it tough!! Key takeaways: 1) kiddies are soooo cute and 2) I am paving my backyard if we ever get a bigger one!!!
We were lucky to have beautiful weather :) here are some Instagram shots of the day plus some at the pool. The weather was begging us to go for a swim afterwards to cool off after a long day!! I am LOVING that photo of Charlie below ;)
This haul video is a little late but better late than never :)
I forgot to mention in the haul that I bought these AWESOME pair of booties exactly like the RMK pair I was lusting after!! These are from Rubi Rubi shoes and did I mention they are about $100 cheaper? ;)
Boots by Rubi shoes, $39.95
Oh and if you were wondering the pic above has been filtered using Instagram!! Follow me @cozzle85
I picked up a couple things from last Thursday night from an upcoming label Gingham and Heels!!!
I LOVE the boho feel and the girliness of the blouses, perfect for spring and summer. I purchased these from their pop-up store in Pitt St Mall under Myer and both items were $60 each. They also stock cute blazers and dresses!
I have an everyday 'glammed up' look that anyone can rock during the day or even at night. I used some of my new eyeshadow purchases from IMATS Sydney 2011 (post coming up soon).
Excuse the lighting in the video and pics below, it was quite overcast and rainy today :(

After the 100km Oxfam, Charlie threw my runners out. It has been 3 weeks since the race and I hadnt bought new runners yet so it was my excuse not to exercise lol.
Well the my exercise-free days are gone, I went shopping today for new runners! Charlie has been recommending Athlete's Foot since forever, so today I finally drew up the courage to get my foot fitted! Here are my feet specs:
my right foot is a 6.5 and my left foot is a 6
my feet are both C-wide - i have the widest feet I know :(
I have a neutral stance - this was surprising cos I always thought I had flat feet
in terms of weight distribution, I carry 52% of my weight on my right foot and 48% on my left. Eek!
I tried on a pair of Asics (my last pair of runners were Asics), Brooks and New Balance. I tried the Asics on with the Brooks and loved the latter. Only because they were sooo much more comfier, lighter, provided more cushion and didnt feel as tight on the side of my feet. The New Balance was probably in between in terms of comfort so I opted for the Brooks in the end.
Hopefully I will get a chance to test these babies out tomorrow at land training and also during the week :) I think they look like space shoes hehe.
Brooks, Summons 3 - from Athelete's Foot
Also I highly recommend getting fitted at Athlete's Foot. They were so helpful!! And its worth investing in runners :)
